Building Solutions Together: Highlights from the First East Metro Regional Housing Conference
On January 17, over 160 community leaders, housing professionals, and stakeholders gathered at Mt. Hood Community College for the first East Metro Regional Housing Conference to tackle some of the region’s most pressing housing challenges.
We were honored to have 24 speakers shed light on the urgent housing issues we face, sharing eye-opening data and emphasizing how our community must urgently tackle these problems. A huge thanks to all our panel speakers for sparking meaningful conversations and driving collaborative problem-solving throughout the day.
We’d love for you to check out this article from the Gresham Outlook, which recaps the event and highlights key moments from our panel discussions: “East Metro Leaders Gather to Discuss, Problem-Solve Around Housing Issues in East County”
The East Metro Leaders will convene another Conference, probably in the fall, to keep the momentum going as we work toward a future where everyone has affordable access to a home.”
